Chishti Order is studied as part of "Sufi Movement" (Medieval India) in History. Sufism, the mystical dimension of Islam, entered India with the Ghaznavids and flowered through great orders (silsilas) such as the Chishti and Suhrawardi. Sufi saints preached love of God and service to humanity.
